Hugo’s little brother, and the deuteragonist of Hugo’s World. Very skittish and just as very paranoid and anxious about most everything. Bites his nails down until they bleed, which Hugo likes a lot. Prone to nosebleeds, also which Hugo likes a lot. He usually trails behind his older brother, the two being relatively close (very close compared to Hugo and Black Tar), holding his stuffed cat. Linus is thoughtful and inventive, however, and is the craftsman behind many of Hugo’s puppets. He enjoys reading and writing like any normal person when he isn’t too nervous to do either, which frankly is rather rare, so when he isn’t doing anything he sticks to Hugo’s back like a parasite as aforementioned. He hates his brothers’ music tastes.
He dislikes Philip and is even slightly jealous of how well he and Hugo get along, as Linus likes his brother a great deal and wants to be closer to him, which is impossible with Philip around. He and Black Tar get along fine, unlike Hugo and his oldest brother, and sometimes play video games together, which Hugo hates.
Unlike Black Tar, who has dark brown hair, Linus is more similar to Hugo and Philip in that his hair is a sort of muddy blonde (I suppose, unlike Hugo and Philip’s clean blonde) and sticks up every which way unless combed down. It is long and curly like a mat, and often causes Hugo to wonder if Linus was adopted from somewhere due to how strangely different his hair is from his brothers’. Like his brothers, however, his skin is light and his eyes are naturally green, though he dyes them purple with eye dye because Black Tar went through an eye dyeing phase once and it stuck on Linus. He is small and thin, having a similar build to the taller Hugo.

LINUS FUN FACTS
He, like Hugo, takes pills and whatnot, since Black Tar apparently likes his brothers to be moisturized, medicated, and in their zones, and Charles is too meek to say no to Black Tar's suggestions (demands). He takes anti-anxieties, for obvious reasons.
Hugo routinely, accidentally and purposefully, somehow destroys Linus' stuffed cat named Cherry. Linus is currently on Cherry XXVI [updated 20/7/24].
He tends to stick to music that's calming and soothing, and Hugo's music taste freaks him out. Loona? Ski Aggu? Who? It demands too much sensory use, so Linus prefers the music thay plays over baby sensory videos on YouTube. He watches these a lot.
Linus is what you might call a 'soft boy', but not in a 'fem boy' way but in a 'baby boy' way. He acts much younger than his age, which is probably about twelve or so, if Hugo is fifteen and Black Tar twenty-three, which expands the age gap between he and Hugo to about seven years instead of a measly three, behaviour-wise.
